The rock band Kiss will be featured on a New Mexico lottery scratcher game after officials announced a licensing agreement Tuesday.
New Mexico Lottery chief executive Tom Romero says the scratcher game incorporates the band members' painted faces, which he calls "instantly recognizable."
The sale of the lottery games benefits a New Mexico college tuition-assistance program. Lottery officials estimate the KISS scratcher, if it sells out, will generate about $900,000 in scholarship revenue.
The KISS scratcher game offers cash prizes of up to $50,000.
