Banda heartthrob German Montero and telenovela star/pop idol Jencarlos Canela will perform at the SESAC Latina awards gala July 21.

The event at the Beverly Hills Hotel will celebrate the performing rights organization?s 80th anniversary. Affiliates Aleks Syntek, Jorge Hernandez (?El Guero?), Ricky Rick and Alacranes Musical?s Memo Ibarra and Omar Sanchez have also confirmed their attendance.

The society will present awards for songs that have received substantial airplay in the past year as well as honors for songwriter of the year, song of the year, publisher of the year, and songs that have hit No. 1 on the Billboard Latin charts during the past year and decade.
