Wagram Takes Stake In French Indie Tot Ou Tard

July 12, 2010

By By Aymeric Pichevin, Paris

French independent music group Wagram Music has taken a 49% stake in Paris-based music company Tot ou Tard, home to artists including Yael Naim and Vincent Delerm.

Tot Ou Tard operates two labels, Tot ou Tard and rock-oriented Guess What!, as well as its publishing arm Lili Louise Music and its recently created concert division Zouave.

One of the leading independent distributors in France, Wagram Music also operates three labels: Wagram (home to Corneille), 3eme Bureau (Pony Pony Run Run) and Cinq 7 (the Do).

Wagram will distribute Tot ou Tard and Guess What! releases from August 1. Yael Naim's upcoming album is out on Nov.15.

The investment by Wagram will enable Tot ou Tard to accelerate the growth of its activities while consolidating Wagram Music's position, a statement issued by Tot ou Tard said.
